We’re a group of registered, experienced clinicians who also happen to be neurodivergent. We understand, both professionally and personally, what the journey toward diagnosis can entail, and recognise the importance of being viewed as a whole person with unique strengths and challenges. Many of us also parent neurodivergent children and can relate to both good and bad experiences of accessing care. We have thought carefully about how we structure our clinics to ensure that assessment is a positive, affirming process that leads to meaningful outcomes for individuals and families.
We work with our speech therapy, clinical and educational psychology partners across the North of England to provide neuro-affirmative, autism and neurodevelopmental assessments.
Assessments are available for adults and children of all ages.
Our assessments are multidisciplinary and fully adhere to NICE guidelines. This means that the NHS, Local Authorities and schools will recognise your assessment. We will provide a comprehensive report with a tailored list of recommendations that will support applications for Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs), Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
With our partners, we also offer specialist assessments, including those for Autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia), Sensory Integration and processing difficulties, learning disability and ADHD.
